On Snacking
One of the perks we get here at IF/THEN is entry into a vast and delicious world: Costco. My Costco card was the first employee benefit I received and, not 24 hours later, my refrigerator was stocked with vast quantities of satsumas and almond butter. I shuttled organic Fuji apples into work for days and days. I’ve got string cheese that should last into the summer.
But that isn’t the full joy of the company Costco membership. The real benefit is the quantity of office snacks and beverages available, all day, every day, without ever leaving the comfort of the office. We’ve got quite the hoard, including large quantities of Cheez-its, Cheerios and Sweet & Salty Nut Bars, Juice Squeezes as far as the eye can see, and veritable tubs of mixed nuts. I’m partial to the many flavors of Orbitz gum, a lovely palate cleanser after a handful of cashews. Others are known to eat every kind of instant oatmeal but the Cinnamon Bun flavor. We’ve got quite a few of those on-hand, if you’d like to try a few.
